Scott Walker Comes Out Against Boehner’s And McConnell’s Deal With Dems To Fund Obama’s Amnesty
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | March 4, 2015 | Matthew Boyle

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a frontrunner in many 2016 GOP presidential polls in recent weeks, has come out swinging against the deal House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just cut with congressional Democrats to fund President Obama’s executive amnesty.

The basis of his opposition to the deal is twofold.

First, he doesn’t agree with the way it surrenders Congress’ power of the purse to Obama through at least the end of September, the current fiscal year.

Second, Walker is furious that Democrats who publicly stated many times they opposed the president’s actions didn’t follow through and vote their stated positions.

Also, Walker—whose state of Wisconsin is part of the Texas-led 26-state lawsuit against the president’s actions—says that in addition to states fighting this in court, the Congress needs to do its job to stop Obama, a job that Congress has thus far failed at. Federal judge Andrew S. Hanen has put Obama’s executive amnesty on hold until appeals are completed in the court system–something the administration has reluctantly agreed to comply with.

“The Governor was one of the first to join the lawsuit that has been successful, at least on this initial technicality,” Walker spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski tells Breitbart News. “He hopes to prevail through the courts but he believes that the Congress needs to preserve the power of the purse to fight this overreach by the President. Democrats have questioned the president’s overreach in the past but didn’t hold him accountable when given the opportunity.”

This draws a sharp contrast between Walker and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who hasn’t taken any position on whether Congress should use the power of the purse to stop Obama’s executive amnesty. In fact, Bush’s team hasn’t responded to requests....

Walker supposedly wants to govern the nation so he has about a year and a half to prove IN ACTION that he is against amnesty by showing that he chooses American citizens in Wisconsin instead of the tens of thousands of illegal invaders in Wisconsin.

If Walker just gives speeches, well, then he will not be able to differentiate himself from the other weak-kneed, limp-wristed, talk-a-good-game, wannabes (with Cruz obviously not a wannabe, but instead the most important statesman in America to lead the conservative movement out of the wilderness).

The Governor cannot actually enforce federal law. He is the head of the state-not the USA. We have an enemy to the country in the White House and his attorney general would be all over Walker. Yes, Perry put the NG of Texas on the border as he commands the Guard. That is at Texas’ expense too. I wish all Governors could do what you ask. Look at the Gov of Arizona and what was done. She really tried. The Feds will do zip. The Border Patrol hates not being able to do their jobs. Obama and Holder are the real enemy plus every one who supports Obama.

And if that doesn’t work again, we have to do something different this time.

Jeb vs Hillary
What difference does it make?

If Perot hadn’t been a nut he may have won.

So we all should ignore the tens of thousands of illegal invaders monopolizing lower-end jobs and healthcare resources in Wisconsin?

No. And we should do all we can to stop amnesty, too. The sad damn thing is Obama has allowed a number to produce anchor babies here. That creates more problems. We need to go back to fast and furious and put both Obama and Holder on trial for murder. Holder may as well have pulled the trigger on the Border patrol agent who was killed. The damn Mexicans are all over Nashville now. From Nolensville RD/Harding Place area in the southeast part of the city to I-65 and then north to Madison and Gallatin near Rivergate to Mount Juliet in Wilson county the Mexicans are growing more and more everyday. My wife went to a oral surgeon near Rivergate and went into a Walmart there. She will never again go in that area. Hell, the residents who live there all wish they had the money to move as those who did have.

Mexifornia is overrun with the Mexican Mafia, MS-13, Sureño, and other violent street gangs. Wisconsin has its problems, too. In Dane County, where the Capitol is located, the new police chief only several days ago is now proclaiming the gangs are brutally active in the front yards of Madison. Down here in Bama, the SUR-13 is spreading rapidly in the Birmingham metro area.

The colors staining the streets of Main Street America are red, white, and blue, they are the crimson blood from peaceful, law-abiding citizens. These assassins are coming from Mexico, from our prisons, and from within our own school systems. Yet, the political elites of both persuasions refuse to really acknowledge how bad it is for fear of awakening the sleeping giant of America to the invasion within our very own borders.

...C'mon, Walker endorsed a hispanic domestic terrorist Cesar Chavez Day in Wisconsin only last year, which is no different that DeBlasio mandating that school children celebrate islam Days with days off from school! ....

Stop right there and "think" or at least stop spinning.

It is an optional state holiday - You need to learn how to pick your fights.

I'll let Walker's actions speak for him:

I was there in person rallying against these union protestors. Never once saw Governor Walker show any inclination to supporting us by showing up in person, giving speeches. Proverbially, the Tea Party members were really the ones in the Lion's Den. It was the Tea Party that was letting their actions speak for conservatives in Wisconsin.

Plus, right now, the one thing that will crucify us conservatives is amnesty. Any politician that today does not act to stop the amnesty is signing the figurative death warrant of the Tea Party, conservatives, the middle class in America.

islam is an ideology that naturally requires terrorism to accomplish its goals, no different than what Cesar Chavez did by using violence and terrorist threats to accomplish his goals. So you fail to make your point.

Yes, unfortunately the party label stands for nothing. If anything, its a big weight to drag around.

How many more years and decades of GOP failures, ineptitude, cronyism, and intransigence do we need to put up with?

Lets be honest, this was going out on a sequoia like limb...

really risking it..

He might piss off the 20-25% who would never vote for him anyways.

But it did need to be said.

Unlike Cruz, Walker is formidable in the general election.

Walker has locked the barn door after the horse has been stolen. When the debate mattered, he was advocating a path to citizenship.

Don't get me wrong, Walker would be much more conservative than anyone the GOP has run since Ronaldus Magnus. But why settle for second-best when you have Ted Cruz?

The GOP itself will be their toughest obstacle.

I heard Ann Coulter on Hannity yesterday and she was lambasting the "Conservatives" as we are too doctrinal for the real party and she still wants Romney and he was right on Immigration....

So I ask, did she fall of a bicycle and bump her head, or is she the spokes-mouth for the K-Street-I-am with Jeb Wing of the Party....

You sure about that??? In the past 2 decades we have had how many conservative presidents???

I don’t think that is the proper path any more.
