Using Private Email, Hillary Clinton Thwarted Record Requests
The New York Times ^ | Tuesday, March 3, 2015 | Michael S. Schmidt and Amy Chozick

In 2012, congressional investigators asked the State Department for a wide range of documents related to the attack on the United States diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya. The department eventually responded, furnishing House committees with thousands of boxes of records and emails.

But it turns out that that was not everything.

The State Department had not searched the email account of former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton because she had maintained a private account, which shielded it from such searches, department officials acknowledged on Tuesday.

It was only last month that the House committee appointed to investigate Benghazi was provided with about 300 of Mrs. Clinton’s emails related to the attacks. That was shortly after Mrs. Clinton turned over, at the State Department’s request, some 50,000 pages of government-related emails that she had kept on her private account.

It was one of several instances in which records requests sent to the State Department, which had no access to Mrs. Clinton’s emails, came up empty.

n 2013, Nitasha Tiku, then a reporter for Gawker, filed a Freedom of Information Act request, seeking all correspondence on Mrs. Clinton’s private email account between her and Sidney Blumenthal, a onetime staff member in the Clinton White House. Some of those emails had already spilled into public view and been reported in the news media. But the State Department told Gawker that it could find no records responsive to the request, Gawker reported.

Mrs. Clinton’s aides on Tuesday sought to play down the significance of her exclusive use of a personal email account for State Department business. But an examination of records requests sent to the department reveals how the practice protected a significant amount of her correspondence from the eyes of investigators and the public.

An amazing; deliberate; arrogant, security breach. Why would she not be arrested and charged with a crime?

“Having national security information on a private computer would be a big no-no.”......

Do you REALLY think Holder would bring charges against her? I highly doubt it. Remember, she too could easily have some dirt on odumbo and his ilk as well,Benghazi quickly comes to mind.

Get out the popcorn machine, it’s gonna be a long wait.

AP reported----It was unclear whom Clinton hired to set up her private email server---AP traced it to a mysterious identity, Eric Hoteham. That name does not appear in public records databases, campaign contribution records or Internet background searches. Hoteham was listed as the customer at Clinton's $1.7 million home on Old House Lane in Chappaqua in records registering the Internet address for her email server since August 2010. The Hoteham personality also is associated with a separate email server, presidentclinton.com, and a non-functioning website, wjcoffice.com, all linked to the same residential Internet account as Mrs. Clinton's email server. The former president's full name is William Jefferson Clinton. (SOURCE: AP on foxnews.com)

So, wondering who this 'Eric Hoteham' really is, I entered that name into an anagram generator: http://wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=Eric+Hoteham&t=1000&a=n

his must be Groundhog Day — because we’ve lived through this scenario with Hillary Clinton before in Whitewater investigation when she was in the WH.

Remember this? Hillary Clinton documents are under subpoena for years but are unavailable. There are denials about the existance of the documents, but lo and behold they are found in her private quarters.

I remember the first time an aide found the documents open on Hillary’s private desk in the family quarters of the WH. This time, the existence of the documents become known because a hacker found out about them when he hacked a sycophant supporter and found emails to and from Hillary.

The only reason you hide subpoenaed documents from Congress is to keep some dirt secret. The Clinton’s never learn from past mistakes on money or secret documents.

Surprise, surprise, it’s Ground Hog day
