Temple activists were euphoric Monday after a precedent-setting ruling by Magistrates Court Judge Malka Aviv in the case of Yehuda Glick vs. the Israeli Police, a day earlier. The judge ruled that the police must make sure that Jews are able to pray on the Temple Mountin a ruling replete with harsh criticism of the polices policies on the Temple Mount.
Activists were quoted on a Temple activists blog as saying: This day will be remembered for generations in the annals of the struggle for the return of Jews to the Temple Mount.
The police are legally bound to ensure that Jews are able to pray on the Temple Mount, and not to act sweepingly to prevent Jews from praying on the Temple Mount, the judge determined.

Good news! Remember, though, that proper prayer is good anywhere. Be especially careful, when praying around any higher places.
Wow. I don’t claim to know a lot about this, but it seems like big news to me.
Not so fast!

...Arnon Segel, a journalist and commentator on Temple Mount issues, expressed doubt, however, that Jewish prayer will now be freely permitted at the holy site.
Segel noted that the government has committed to upholding the so-called status quo over the Temple Mount not to allow non-Muslim prayer, something which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu re-committed to in November last year.
One step at a time ... the dome of the rock needs to be destroyed and the Temple rebuilt.
That’s Segel’s opinion.
God is on the move.
That will happen. When, only G_d knows, but it will happen.
Backed up by Netanyahu (or whoever succeeds him) and the Waqf. “Status quo” on the Temple Mount isn’t going to be overturned by one judge’s in-theory ruling, which is more limited than the headline indicates. You know that.
Its an important ruling that will pave the way towards the demolition of the apartheid regime on the Temple Mount.
What it established is the Israel Police has to enforce and protect basic freedoms no matter where they are exercised in Israel and it cannot use the security argument to deprive Jews of lawfully exercising them.
Peaceful prayer is a threat to no one.
If I could pray there, I would ask, “O God, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, smite these evil men by your great power, and with your mighty host protect your Holy City Jerusalem from the minions of Satan that all themselves followers of the false god Allah.”
But not the courts.
The ruling points up the fact the apartheid status quo is untenable.
In the long run, it will be swept as it should be, into the dustbin of history where it rightfully belongs.
Jews will be able to pray peacefully at their holiest site in the future.
Don’t forget, the prayer prohibited isn’t only any kind of official prayer service, one might also be arrested for just whispering to oneself.
AMEN!!!
Thanks for the ping. That’s very interesting.
I like it.
