This plea deal was in the works for awhile, but the fact that it's announced on the very day that the Hildebeast’s little email arrangement became public might make some people wonder if there might be some old-fashioned quid pro quo at work.
Such as: If you, Hildebeast, quietly announce in a couple of months that for “health reasons” you won't seek the DemonRat Party nomination, then we (0bameister & his minions) won't sic the Justice Department on you for your little peccadilloes.
