ouse Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday agreed to Democrats' demands to hold a vote on legislation funding the Homeland Security Department through the end of the budget year, without any immigration measures attached.
The move is a victory for the Obama administration and sets up a presumably swift resolution to the weeks-long standoff on Capitol Hill.
Republicans had tried to use the DHS funding bill as the vehicle to reverse President Obama's controversial immigration executive actions. But Democrats repeatedly blocked the move, insisting they pass the spending bill with no riders attached.
"I am as outraged and frustrated as you at the lawless and unconstitutional actions of this president," Boehner told his caucus on Tuesday morning, according to a source.

The House has now ratified as a matter of law through funding the illegal amnesty dictated by the traitor president.

Until and unless Mitch McConnell suspends the filibuster in the Senate this nonsense will not cease.

If the executive branch is running the legislative branch now, why do we need a Congress?

What is to stop Obama from enacting ANY POLICY HE WANTS by executive action and tying the funding to a department?
For the life of me, I can't figure out what happened here.
What am I missing?
1. Obama signs Executive Order and somehow ties it's implementation to DHS funding
2. House passes DHS funding without Executive Order.
3. Senate does nothing.
4. In fear of shutting down DHS, the House passes DHS funding which includes Executive Order.
How in the hell has any Congress in history stopped any President from doing whatever he pleased?

Suspending the filibuster will not end this ‘nonsense’. Obama would veto and you’re back in this spot again. Only then you’d need 67 votes to end the ‘nonsense’, not 60. So, what would that accomplish?
