Before the internet, the kinds of shenanigans McConnell and Boehner are engaged in would pass with few people knowing that they had been sold out.
Now, gutless wonders like McConnell and Boehner have to maneuver, and sometimes twist themselves into pretzels, to try to convince the base that they are conservative fighters.
With the free flow of information, however, the spotlight is on these traitors and we all know they are just a different flavor of the One Big Government Party. No one but the lowest of low information Republican voters have any trust in these “leaders”.
One thing is for sure, the deadbeat Republicans are consistent. From the moment they refused to challenge the usurper’s fraudulent entry into the WH, the fix has been in.
