To: Nowhere Man

I don’t see fifty American states under the current Constitution in 20 years, I don’t.

If we still have a Constitution, it will be purely symbolic and a sham, like in the old USSR. Hell, it’s almost there now.

Well, I think you’re right. My father says the same thing all the time. We might shatter into several nations, maybe one or three might adhere to the ideals of the Constitution while others become more like Obamaland or whatever. Some might join Canada or if Canada breaks up, pieces from both join up. The Mormons might get their wish in having a Desert Republic. I can see an atomic war as well. This will most likely start as a result where somebody says “enough!” The future is murky, but I do not see the U.S. surviving as an entity as we know it.
