According to Wall Street Journal (US Official) the U.S. isn’t involved with the taking of Tikrit, rather they’re saying Iran is supporting the Iraquis’s....via the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fighters on the ground with Iraqi units.

Looks like BO is trying to make heroes out of Iran by them coming together with Iraqui’s. One way or the other Bo’s playing his hand for his own personal achievement....he’s got to have something since he’s batted zero so far.

Nothing close to an 800 megaton nuke has ever existed.

The B41 was the highest yield of any American weapon ever (retired in1976) - about 25 megatons. The largest Russian weapon was the AN602 “Tsar Bomba” at 50 megatons, but only one was ever officially built, and the actual yield when exploded was more like 15 megatons. These could obliterate major cities, and kill millions upon detonation.

The biggest available to us today is the B83, at about 1.2 megatons at full yield. It is delivered by bomber aircraft, but is not on regular operational status. It would need to pulled from storage. The weapons ready to fire run around one to five hundred kilotons - 8 to 40 times Hiroshima.
