President Obama threatened last year, according to Middle Eastern news outlets Sunday, to use the U.S. military to shoot down Israeli fighter jets if they attempted to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities — reports the administration denounced later Sunday as flatly untrue. The Saudi’s will let them pass over (sorry, couldn’t resist that one) but will they join them in the attack? I doubt it very much. We all know that during Desert Storm, the Saudi’s allowed the U.S. to defend them against Iran, now they are allowing Israel do the same by allowing Israel to attack their potential enemy Iran.

The status of forces agreement having expired, and the US having no obligation to defend Iraq, the President would be taking us into a non defensive war. However this fits nicely with the Whitehouse description of Bibi as a chickenshit for not attacking Iran. Clearly the WH was taking credit for facing him down. Some threat must have been made. You are precisely right. Our pilots would not fire on Israeli pilots. Perhaps that is why the generals are all being replaced with transvestites, so they can call their Iranian “buddies” and let them know the IAF is coming. Obama is Iran’s early warning system.
Imagine this had actually happened and Obama had given shoot down orders to US military forces. First would US commanders have followed such an order or would they have mutinied since Israel posed no threat to US forces? Second would the State Department have warned Iran even to the point of sharing classified intelligence about an Israeli raid? Lastly what would have been the reaction in Congress to Obama’s sinister if not treasonous act? I would bet that even with this dastardly abuse of power the GOP leadership would have squelched any talk of impeachment and the MSM would have been praising Obama for his actions.
When it comes to “he said, she said” stories like this one, an American President’s administration can rely on the President’s carefully honed reputation for candor and truthfulness to act as an antidote to scurrilous accusations.
Too bad that Obama can’t tap into that, huh...

Netanyahu, King Abdullah and el-Sisi have come to realize that President Obama and his administration do not fully appreciate the magnitude of the threat, and that the Obama team is not fully committed to taking decisive action to neutralize the threat.
There may or may not have been an actual threat, but I have no doubt the idea was floated especially in light of Zbigniew Brzezinski's statement from 2008:

“We have to be serious about denying them that right, If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a ‘Liberty’ in reverse....”
Now why would they have “no choice” but to turn back?
I do not believe O would give such an order. I tend to think it is bluster. But a question just the same:
does anyone think an actual order such ad this given by the (barf!) CIC would make it down the chain of command?

There is going to be some kind of major showdown with the POS Obama.
I think the Netanyahu speech tomorrow is going to slap Obama right in the face and wake up a lot of people.
Obama is going to have a hard landing and most of the Dems will step back and distance themselves from him.
No one in the military is compelled to follow an illegal order, never mind who gives it or wherever the hell it comes from.
