Oh, so you want me to try and go back through years and years of posts where Freepers have told of their encounters with the police that went bad ?
It’s part of human nature, and you know it (or should). Those who have never had negative encounters with police seem to have neutral opinions about them. Those who have had negative encounters usually have negative opinions. Most of them got themselves into that mess to begin with.
There are a few who have had negative encounters and were completely innocent. I have seen comments from them as well. But they are far and few between.
BUT... I will give you one example. I have had dealings with the police. Each time it was through my actions. I am the one responsible for it happening to begin with. I was also responsible enough to ensure it didn’t go from bad to worse. I don’t trust cops for the simple reason that they are not my friend or benefactor in anyway. But I don’t hate them.
You want to be able to make assertions without lifting a finger to prove it.
