Guy actively resisting goes for officers gun, refuses to comply with commands to drop it, and is shot.
There is officer worn video.
Please watch the video. Fighting the cops can reasonably be a path to self inflicted. Video does little to show resister and gun. Audio supports cops. Cop mounted video supposedly supports cops. I have been called both cop hater and cop lover. This board is full of people who jump to the conclusion they want.

I am a retired USAF Lt Col, current TS SCI clearance, never been arrested, never been charged, never been detained and have a 100% clean record.
Yet, I have a very low opinion of cops, cop unions and cop suckers.
So, we are back to you providing just one example of “the most vociferous about their dislike of the police” being “guilty of self inflicted run in’s with the law”.

A little late with this comment....I wonder when people became so brain washed that they came to believe that all cops are all powerful and every “command” should be obeyed.
Way too many cops are uneducated boobs on power trips who can’t spell and barely made it through high school. And while they were in high school they were “mistreated” and not allowed to hang with the cool people. Then they’re given a few weeks training on how to subdue people, handed a badge and a gun and told to go generate some revenue.
I was a cop for a short while. I just described every cop I ever worked with. That also describes my family members who were cops.
