When I go to an intersection with red and green lights, I expect that those with red lights on their side will stop their vehicles and with my green light, I can go through without a potential accident happening.

I don’t want to be carrying a gun for the purpose of shooting everyone that runs the red light, but instead want to depend on the laws that keep other people in line (unless you’re simply dealing with a hardcore criminal).

SO I appreciate those laws which are in effect so that I can go through that intersection without it being the Wild, Wild West and taking your life in your hands.

I depend on others knowing that if they continually break the law and always run those red lights, that the law and officials will catch up to them and they will be responsible for their actions.

That’s the kind of stuff I appreciate in our society, and whether it’s driving my car or cruising the Internet, I’ll be counting on the law to keep a lot of others “honest”.

Oh that’s precious....ok...using your same anology...

I ride a motorcycle....i’ve seen enough people run dead red lights that I NEVER simply trust another motorist to stop just becuase their light is red....blind trust will get you killed in short order....and appearently you’ve never heard of a crooked cop.

Net Neutering is about gaining control.....and nothing more.

And you are clapping....
