Tough crowd here. Why can’t you just accept that he means what he says. Maybe he is telling the truth, the last few years have made many people more anti-amnesty. He sure is right on so many other things and is about the closest thing to conservative purity that we have seen in many years. I’m Walker or Cruz, either one of them is fine with me.
I am one. In my youth I had a fairly romantic notion of what open-borders would mean. In the last decade or two I have reversed course completely. Part of it might be gray hair, but most of it is what I have seen happening over the last 20 years, including the serial betrayals by our politicians on exactly this subject.

I have no problem with him changing his mind. What I have problem with is the fact that he once thought that it was an acceptable position. This isn’t like preferring strawberry over chocolate....it’s about having a position that follows the law, respects and protects US citizens, vs one that has no regard for the rule of law. Not respecting the law....just because you don’t like it, is a big part of the problem with Zero.
The fact that he flippantly changes his mind without recognizing that is very troubling.
