Which Republican presidential candidates support amnesty? I have analyzed all the major Republican presidential candidates (except Ben Carson and Rick Sanctorum, who are long shots, and Donald Trump, who has undocumented hair). I have found that all the major presidential candidates support amnesty for illegal aliens, except for one. Can you guess which one?
Jeb Bush: Jeb, as we all know, supports amnesty for illegal aliens, and he's proud of it. If he were running in Honduras, I would vote for him in a minute.
Marco Rubio: Marco Rubio co-authored a bill that would have given amnesty to illegal aliens. He has since tried to walk back from that, saying:
... that hes learned he was wrong on his approach to immigration reform.
Rubio, a onetime Tea Party favorite whose support for a comprehensive immigration reform package hurt him with the base, told the conservative crowd that he now understands U.S. borders must be secured before anything else can be done. what Ive learned is you cant even have a conversation about that until people believe and know, not just believe but its proven to them that future illegal immigration will be controlled.
And if you believe that, I have a taco truck in Juárez I'd like to sell you.

Well, at this point that is a no-brainer statement by Rubio- a low hanging fruit comment to gain crowd agreement. Now, back to Ted Cruz’s pointed question- “what have you done to fight against it?”
From the (excerpted) link.....
Ted Cruz: Ted Cruz is the only major candidate who has never supported or endorsed amnesty.
End Obama’s illegal amnesty via Congress’ checks & balances. (Nov 2014)
Defund amnesty, and refuse any nominees until rescinded. (Nov 2014)
No path to citizenship for 1.65 million illegals in Texas. (Oct 2012)
Give police more power to ask about immigration status. (Jun 2012)
Boots on the ground, plus a wall. (Apr 2012)
Triple the size of the Border Patrol. (Mar 2012)
Strengthen border security and increase enforcement. (Jul 2011)
He’s resolute, he’s firm, he’s good on most of the other issues, and he has Spanishy good looks. What more could you want?
< unpc > Whites gave up tribalism so long ago it is no longer in their DNA. Blacks, Hispanics and Arabs still have deeply rooted tribal instincts that even they can’t recognize in themselves but others can see clearly. < /unpc >
CRUZ!
I’m amazed at the folks who are falling all over themselves to rationalize Walker’s apparent views on illegals and border security. It looks to me like he’s a bit late to the party and working hard to ‘explain’ his evolving position.
I do like some of the things he’s accomplished to date.
I’m not sure he’s the right candidate, at this point. Still willing to listen, though...
There are a number of defining issues that I'm not willing to compromise on. Helping Hillary become president compromises all of them.
This should be posted daily.
Walker has not been on the right side of immigration with We the People that much is clear. He has evolved his position and hopes people wont take notice, we cant afford to just trust his words. Show me were he took a stand? Walker requested a Mexican consulate in WI...thats not standing. Walker seems to have the Washington speak down, IMO “secure the border” is empty rhetoric...same crap we’ve been hearing from RINOs forever. Tell me how. Enforce the laws we have today. Walker is a pathway guy just like Paul Ryan, that I’m convinced.
Jeb is a "true believer," a fanatic when it comes to amnesty, somebody who is perhaps manipulated by his wife or other foreign interests. Anyone with at least average intelligence can see the extensive harm amnesty would cause.
The best position is held by Ted Cruz, my first choice for POTUS.
“Rubio has moral backbone? By what measurement?”
Who said it was Rubio?
Not me, which is why I asked; and I originally read your headline add-on as “only one with moral backbone that supports amnesty”, mistakenly on my part.
So if illegal immigration is important to you, you should vote for Ted Cruz but also support Marco Rubio. That reinforced my reading of only one with moral backbone . . . who supports amnesty.
Cruz supports the legalization of those here now:

So the only question is, What's Amnesty?
Securing the border does absolutely nothing to stem the illegal invasion, as long as there is no penalty for being here illegally.
Liken this to allowing a bank robber to continue opening safety deposit boxes once he safely got into our bank in the first place.
There are no quotes from Cruz in that 2013 NY Slimes article that say what they are trying to make him say. They parse his quotes like crazy and editorialize even more so.
It was also published in the local Texas paper.
He has to object to every slander the liberal media puts out? I think that would cut into all of his work time.
If it is a slander he would do well to object to this one.
Refuting this story, very publicly is the best investment possible for his time. FAR more valuable than 2000 hours on the Campaign trail talking about other things.
The reason he does not is that he supports the legalization of those here illegally, even though he objects to "a path to citizenship".
If you, and others, choose to have your head in the sand, that's your call.
But I'll call 'em like I see 'em.
EVERY potential GOP Candidate supports Amnesty. And that's why none of them will ever have my vote or money.
And that's why we need Jeff Sessions for POTUS.
