On Friday, C.J. Pearson, a 12-year-old conservative from Georgia who posted a viral video supporting Rudy Giuliani, discovered that his personal Facebook page was locked. In an exclusive interview with Examiner.com on Saturday, Pearson said he received a message from someone about 6 a.m. Friday. That's when he learned his account and page had been locked for "suspicious activity."
He jumped through all of Facebook's hoops, but wasn't able to recover his account. So he created a new profile to take its place. His public page was not affected, he said, however, he can no longer administer the page. Fortunately, he said, a friend is helping post links to that page.

Marxist ba$t@rds pulled the kids video.
Is this an example of the "Net Neutrality" we can expect in the near future?
No one under 13 is supposed to have a Facebook account and in fact must lie to get one
Yes to the ‘net neutuered’ law question.
This fine young Georgian is amazing. Hunt down his video it was worth the watch
I have tanked Facebook. What a joke they are — They capture your info and turn it over to the NSA. To hell with facebook. No conservative should ever be near Facebook. That SOB wants AMNESTY!!
If that is the case, wouldn’t that information of been made public by Facebook?
If Jim Robinson blocks someone’s account here on Free Republic ... is that “Net Neutrality”? ... LOL ...
Wait til Google gets a hold of a web page and decides how far down a rabbit hole it end up.
The trustworthiness of a web page might help it rise up Google’s rankings if the search giant starts to measure quality by facts, not just links
THE internet is stuffed with garbage. Anti-vaccination websites make the front page of Google, and fact-free “news” stories spread like wildfire. Google has devised a fix rank websites according to their truthfulness.
Google’s search engine currently uses the number of incoming links to a web page as a proxy for quality, determining where it appears in search results. So pages that many other sites link to are ranked higher. This system has brought us the search engine as we know it today, but the downside is that websites full of misinformation can rise up the rankings, if enough people link to them.
A Google research team is adapting that model to measure the trustworthiness of a page, rather than its reputation across the web. Instead of counting incoming links, the system which is not yet live counts the number of incorrect facts within a page. “A source that has few false facts is considered to be trustworthy,” says the team (arxiv.org/abs/1502.03519v1). The score they compute for each page is its Knowledge-Based Trust score.
The software works by tapping into the Knowledge Vault, the vast store of facts that Google has pulled off the internet. Facts the web unanimously agrees on are considered a reasonable proxy for truth. Web pages that contain contradictory information are bumped down the rankings.
Free Speech not allowed on sites owned by Obama supporters.
Yep... put a bunch of liberals in charge of judging what is truthful....gee...wonder how that’s gonna work out?
You can’t have a Facebook account if you are 12 years old.

so that’s how to successfully delete a facebook account....
“No one under 13 is supposed to have a Facebook account and in fact must lie to get one”
Bingo .. which is likely the reason his page was yanked. people post political crap - left and right - all the time on facebook and their comments are not deleted and their accounts are not suspended.
No, but if someone in the government would coerce Jim to block someone's account, that would be Net Neutrality.
Get the difference?
From the article ...
“He jumped through all of Facebook’s hoops, but wasn’t able to recover his account.”

Whoever wrote that article IS AN IDIOT. You CANNOT RECOVER AN ACCOUNT you are not allowed to have in the first place!
It’s a difference that has no application in Net Neutrality ... especially when that kid was never supposed to have an account in the first place ... :-) ...
This kid should be given the floor at the GOP nominating convention, assuming we get Walker or Cruz. Jebbie wouldn’t allow it.
