OLIVE BRANCH, MS (WMC) - As winter weather was being dumped across most of North Mississippi, one woman says she saw much more than just snow Angela Ashton is convinced she saw a UFO.
Ashton, who is a certified Paranormal Investigator with Cryptic Shadows Paranormal Research, is certain that the object she saw in the sky was extraterrestrial. When she saw the object just after midnight on Thursday, she ran outside to record it.
"It was at least the size of a football field," Ashton said. "I was laying in my bed and I have a huge window that goes across the wall of my bedroom. And I saw a bright blinding light. I mean it was huge."
Ashton says she recorded a few seconds of the quiet, unidentified object as it hovered over a nearby field on Craft Road in Lewisburg, Mississippi. She then quickly ran inside because it was cold. Eventually, she said, the object shot up into the sky and disappeared.

This is all she wants people to know , “I was laying in my bed and I have a huge window that goes across the wall of my bedroom”
What UFO?
What sky?
If it was as big as a football field like she says, why didn’t it show up on radar? UFOs have to show up on radar ...
great glowing orbs that need a full investigation!
IT’S A SPACE PEANUT!
Put down your vibrator toots...you are seein’ things again.
“Give them the five tones: ta-ra-ba-bum-da!”
Romulan cloaking device. Right, Mr. Spo...?...uh, never mind.
He’s dead, Jim ....
“Ashton, who is a certified Paranormal Investigator”
Right.. and who “certified” her? And she just happened to see this, eh? What dumb luck.
Oh yeah a “UFO”.... Just like the Phoenix lights several years ago that were layer proven to be illumination flares used by the military. (There’s a bombing range several miles on the other side of the mountain where those lights were seen).
Hey, she is a “ certified” paranormal investigator! Let’s show a little respect.
BTW who certifies them?
El Globo Grande!
Two of ‘em!
And I am not even a "paranormal investigator".
I had to check. She saw it just after midnight on Thursday. At 12:15a.m., the temp was 28.4. I know I'm a grizzled mountain man and don't even believe in hypothermia, but I'd think a certified ufologist with her one big chance could stand one more minute of 28 degree weather to get more footage.
I hope nobody here in FR dares to question the authenticity of this source.
