A top political nemesis of President Vladimir Putin was shot and killed early Saturday in central Moscow, Russian police said, one day before an opposition rally was scheduled to take place.
Boris Nemtsov, 55, a former deputy prime minister, was shot four times from a passing car as he was walking on a bridge just outside the Kremlin. Interior Ministry spokeswoman Yelena Alexeyeva told reporters on the scene that Nemtsov was walking with a female acquaintance, a Ukrainian citizen, when a vehicle drove up and unidentified assailants shot him dead. The woman wasn't hurt.

This defense of Putin is puzzling. Are his butt-boys Russopliles, fascist-lovers, or, in the case of my recent correspondent, just wanna-be detectives? Witnesses? Is much funny, comrade. And the Ukraine-bashing is a little strange, too. That’s a pretty good sign the posters are Russian-symps.
But you believe a high profile individual/target being murdered by a hired guns while leaving the only eyewitness completely untouched is credible?

Just a crazy hunch boyrude, but I would think anyone wanting to get away with murder and conspiracy to commit murder would not view witnesses as being part of a good alibi or positive career enhancement.
But if ya believe real career murderers who put real bullets into real people’s heads don’t care about real witnesses/evidence, I certainly will not try to convince you otherwise.
Someone with an ample posterior sitting behind their computer in some trailer park determines the nature of a crime because the hitter left a witness.

The killers don’t care if there was a witness. They WANTED a witness! It sends a message that anybody who opposes Putin can be shot down in the street without any consequences. If you can’t get that through your thick head, insulting me is your last gasp, but you’ve worn out that card.
