Saw a guy shooting a russian rifle, nagant or something, said it was 7.62x54, it went clean through a sideways 2x4 at 100 yds.
I did that with a Civil War era muzzle loaded black powder musket. The 2X4s did not like that .60 cal Minnie Ball load. ;~))
Well, I guess the rounds didn't go "clean" through... they just turned the 2X4s into tooth picks as they were passing through. ;~))
It wasn't a 'clean' wound by any means.
