The key thing with Rubio is not that he has a differing opinion on immigration, but the fact that he lied to our faces about it and tried to trick us. He’s dead to me now, he cannot ever be trusted.

Leave God out of it. This is a Peanuts episode where Lucy (FUMR) yanks the football one more time.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) told the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that he's learned he
was wrong on his approach to immigration reform needs to lie more convincingly during the election cycle to get elected before returning to his actual positions.
There, fixed it.

Rubio: “Sorry about that little rape incident on our first date. Would you give me a chance with a second date?”
Any sane conservative has to reject that pick-up line.

Sorry, I no longer trust Rubio.
Those who have violated our immigration laws for many years should be the first to be deported.

Now, whenever I hear Rubio talk all I hear is “BLAH,BLAH,BLAH!”
To: cotton1706
"You have 10 or 12 million people in this country, many of whom have lived here for longer than a decade, have not otherwise violated our law other than immigration laws, I get all that," Rubio said. "But what I've learned is you can't even have a conversation about that until people believe and know, not just believe but it's proven to them that future illegal immigration will be controlled." Not so, Rubio!
Who do you serve? What is your master? What guides what you do?
Our immigration policy is not about the needs of however many " Ready to be Americans," or whatever nonsense is being peddled by open border advocates. It's not about the needs of however many walking petri-dish, pregnant typhoid Marias manage to make it to the border.
It's about Americans. It's about our lives, our needs, our homes.
You can spout all the nonsense you wish about what needs to be done first...you can't hide that your priority is what comes after that.
The issue isn't what need be done first. The issue is your priorities.

so now he is a demonstration of a bad decision.
JebBush thinks he can just use the money he has to buy “magic words” to fool people.

... he's learned he was wrong on his approach to immigration reform.
So, it was
his approach that was wrong, not his intent.
He probably also has adapted the ole 'secure the border' canard that many of the amnesty pushers use.

Nah, Mario, you still have the stench on your shoes from stepping in the gang of 8. You will never get rid of that.

I know you laugh, but the GOPe (who, by the way supported Crist in the Fl senate primary) used a young enthusiatic senator to get an his panic name on the bill. SHAMEFUL.... but at the same time, Rubio is a big boy. Rubio got wise when Obama was already violating security promises while the House was considering the bill.
