Winters in Tahoe ain't getting warmer

The winter of 2014-2015 may be a very warm one, but it is not part of a significant trend during the past several decades. It is hard to link a single warm winter to climate change when the recent trends are toward cooling.

Record snow in February for Denver.

Was ONE degree at 6:00 a.m. today.

Fewer tornados across America the last few years.

No named hurricanes have made landfall the last 2 years.

So, neither the AGW or embarrassingly renamed “climate change” have any credibility.

Yes, very close to that. :-)

Mosquito Pass from near Alma to Leadville is quite a scenic drive. The long, one-lane, high shelf road toward the Leadville side is probably not good for anyone afraid of heights, though. And be careful if around the London Mill after sundown on the lower side of the Pass away from Leadville. Never heard so many bears woofing in one area. One ran down some steps into some kind of of old storage cellar or something right in front of me with very little light to see. And if up around the Mine, watch out for the open shaft near there.

We’re in an extended solar minimum. Magnetic north headed over the physical pole and has become elusive for those trying to find it. The magnetic field has already broken up into unusually weaker and stronger spots.

Those events might have something to do with unusual weather patterns, seismic activities, increased natural methane leakage and volcanism. People with such knowledge could possibly do better with planning for commodities and preparations for nations than those susceptible to being mesmerized by the man-made global warming bunk.

But most people would rather shout moronic political speech one way or the other like monkeys.

That was a well done example of contemporary political speech. The magnetic poles are always shifting.

The following is for anyone who is interested, although inputs of recent dataset revisions from some of our own esteemed western scientists in a marijuana state skewed the following representations somewhat toward the short side (see speculation about an "anomaly").

Magnetic North, Geomagnetic and Magnetic Poles
