He will be missed by many.
I grew up knowing him mostly from him hosting and narrating In Search Of...
To this day, the theme music always gets my attention as soon as I hear it.

RIP.
I agree about Quinto. It’s the script and directing that does him in.

What a way to end a s*it week. That's my feeling. Tough week both politically and professionally. This is just a very sad day. I wonder if he knew how endearing his Mr. Spock would be?

Quinto is lousy as Spock.
Urban, I felt, nailed McCoy.

Fairwell, Spock. What a great life you had.

My gosh, I remember seeing that show when I was a kid. Your graphic of the opening scene is the first I’ve seen of it since then! Same for the music.

There was always something really attractive about that show when I was a kid... maybe it played off the “wonder” of being a little kid, before government school turned me into a cynic.
To: C19fan
I’m very sad to hear this. RIP Mr. Spock.

This is when I wish I were a Trekkie. :(
When Dr. Benjamin Spock died, I remember seeing an editorial cartoon. This couple was discussing Dr. Spock's death, conjuring up visions in their little son of Mr. Nimoy.
RIP Leonard. Say hi to Bones and Scotty for us. I saw a few reruns of ST when it was a staple of programming on Philly's Channel 48 (the real Channel 48, not its replacement), and to me, Leonard, yours will always be the real ST (I never saw any of the movies or the TV reboots).
ff
P.S. I also saw a couple of ST eps (a year apart) in the auditorium at my college - before each night's main feature (a Beatles film in each case [Magical Mystery Tour in the first case, The Beatles at Shea Stadium in the second]).

I know what you mean. I remember seeing the one about the Bermuda Triangle...it really spooked me and I thought about it for days, lol.

I remember “In Search Of” too. i always got into the paranormal, thanks to both grandmothers, one of which belonged to the Edgar Cayce Society. I admired Nimoy’s narration of “In Search Of.” I loved his voice, Nimoy could read a phone book and still keep my interested.
