Criminals are not the smartest bunch, it only pays if they don't get caught.
Here you have only a handful of people directing the cover-up which has never
been done before in Government history, computer wise. It's very possible that in
such a knee-jerk reactive rush they never thought those Emails could be recovered.

Or just maybe, they thought the Messiah of DC could wave his magic-negro hand
and make all the bad investigators go away. Funny thing about IT techs, they're
