Who are these social conservatives that you are speaking to? I feel that I am a social conservative, but I love Scott Walker, Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal. They are my absolute favorites.
They/we all care about Marriage, Abortion, Private Education and Home Schooling and the general degeneration of society to the base.
Well, maybe not all. I lean toward the libertarian side of some of that...but Abortion and Education are paramount issues for all.
But it's just not enough. The survival of the Republic is an existential question.

We're at a point in this republic where I don't care how the candidates feel about the "social" issues. I want someone who will stop the train before it hurtles over the cliff. Then we can worry about "social" issues. Walker, Jindal or Cruz should be plenty good enough for anyone here.
