How will he pass a flat or sales tax in the face of business and upper income people who would fight it to the death, never mind the opposition from the Democrats? How will he sell a flat or sales tax to that 40-odd percent of the population who would see their taxes go up under such a plan? Like I said, the time for joking is past. Walker is serious. Bush is serious. It's time for Cruz to get serious too.
