“How about the all copper bullets? Are they next?”
Virginia already bans all-copper bullets. They are “restricted ammunition”.
From the Virginia Code on “restricted ammunition”:
“cartridges of which the bullet itself is wholly comprised of a metal or metal alloy other than lead.”
Is copper one of those allegedly armor-piercing materials?
And how can there actually be a rationale for banning the allegedly armor-piercing bullets, anyhow. Drive-by shooters and rogue police forces aren’t going to just disappear because this ammo does.
