U.S. military combat vehicles paraded Wednesday through an Estonian city that juts into Russia, a symbolic act that highlighted the stakes for both sides amid the worst tensions between the West and Russia since the Cold War.
The armored personnel carriers and other U.S. Army vehicles that rolled through the streets of Narva, a border city separated by a narrow frontier from Russia, were a dramatic reminder of the new military confrontation in Eastern Europe.

OMG LMAO!!!
Hope we’re ready to back it up - but I know we’re not.
Zero is eventually going to get a lot of people killed, one way or the other.
all I know is....all those people aren’t calling at 3AM
yes, well I seriously doubt any Russians are cringing under the beds about this or anything at all that Obama says or does
Did you forward this to your shirtless hero?
Thinking about the barn door after the herd is long gone.
Sure you can do it, but who are you fooling?

Man, 59°N is way up there in comparison to our 48 states.
It is just a yearly Estonian Independence Day parade. It is held in different cities every year and this year it was held in Narva - third largest city of Estonia. In addition to Estonian armed forces units from Netherlands, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, the UK and the USA participated. These units are there for a training exercise.
I doubt anyone thinks that the parade is a secret staging ground for a surprise attack on Russia. Maybe the papers just don’t have anything else to write about.
Active Duty ping.
sounds good, thanks!
Krosan you are correct!
The unit participating is 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment out of Vilseck Germany. They’ve been in Estonia as part of a partnership training mission.
Seriously, everyone here needs to get a grip and SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!
Estonia joined NATO in 2004, when George W. Bush was president. If FReepers are going to blame things like this on Obama, please realize that the treaty REQUIRES a US commitment to each and every NATO country. If Russia is going to be pissed about this they should have raised a ruckus in 2004!
