Apparently they debunked the insanity thing fairly well, as well as PTSD as he was non-combat. Liars/Lawyers tried to claim that Nidal Hasan was experiencing PRE-traumatic Stress Disorder.
There is nothing lawyers won't try to get a murderer off.

He may have been thinking something like this: “I am a nothing. Maybe if I kill those heroes, it will make me a big man”.

We still don’t know who killed Keith Ratliff a month earlier. Wonder if there is a connection.

RIP Chris and Chad..now they can rest in peace, justice has been served..hopefully the bastard that murdered them both gets the justice he deserves, death by firing squad would be appropriate for him I never bought into his BS defense about him being insane, he knew what he was doing and did it anyway

Do you think man’s silly sad dance on this earth can rob anyone of peace to whom God has not independently granted it?

“But of course that would vitiate it all because it would not be justice. Justice flows from God, and vengeance only after this mortal coil. It does illustrate a fallen human mindset.”
Wouldn’t bother me a whit! I’d relish seeing the life flow out of the cretin.

Yep. Like Jack McCall and Robert Ford, now he’s a backshooting coward of record. Be surprised if he lasts long in prison if he isn’t in protective isolation.

Yes, and you would go to hell that way. Trying to wrap all goodness around yourself, only to find it a decaying miasma. It is the fall of mankind that could believe otherwise.

I got up from bed, after watching on FoxNews the decision and I KNEW that this verdict would come out and be the RIGHT VERDICT of GUILTY.
Thank-you jury and God Bless.

There was little doubt in my mind about this verdict.
But kill 2 people and get life? What he did though is ignominious in killing someone revered by the public.
Jesse James was maybe a bad guy but the public liked him and this murder reminds me a bit of the Jesse James murder.
