My condition after learning of their status was: "you will immediately contact the proper government authorities and declare yourself. After you have presented yourself to them, and if it is permitted by US Government authorities, we can help you and your American child."

Her case and particular circumstances were viewed favorably by immigration authorities and opened the door to us and our church helping them get on their feet and become independent members of our community.
