Well, I’m not a Walker-hater, but as a social conservative I’m not convinced that he is willing to take the arrows necessary when the times get tough. As far as 2008 and 2012, the biggest enemies of social conservatives are liberal Republicans. Give me someone who respects my views, and I will not only vote for him, but donate to him, and work for him. Take your McCains and Romneys elsewhere.

That's a puzzling statement.

What would you call his years of Governor, except a long period of slings and arrows?

Just because he handled those arrows so professionally, making it look effortless, doesn't mean it wasn't, and still is, happening.

I'm a Walker guy, that doesn't mean you have to be, but it's disingenuous to day he can't handle the opposition when things are tough.
