An engineering degree is not easy to get. And Cornell is a top-notch school for the engineering disciplines. I don't know that engineering is regarded as one of the "hard sciences," but I know for a fact that it is hard.

I can't take anything away from Bill Nye's accomplishment in getting that degree. But "educated" doesn't mean "smart." And a degree in Mech E doesn't mean he knows bugger-all about science in general.

He's a lefty enviro-shill. You can get better science cred from Cracker Jacks or a Magic 8-Ball.

He’s just a liberal, and uses what credentials he has to speak on some kind of authority with the media. They are also liberal, so they enjoy his company and opinions.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he were Gay. He looks it. (you can sometimes just tell) If I were to find out that he was the ‘bitch’ side of a homo relationship, I wouldn’t be shocked.... lol

I wasn't intimating that a BS in ME was easy to get. The above was all I was asking about. However hard Engineering is I don't think it is considered a field of science.
