Mechanical Engineers design weapon systems. Civil engineers design targets.

And a degree in Mech E doesn't mean he knows bugger-all about science in general.I wasn't intimating that a BS in ME was easy to get. The above was all I was asking about. However hard Engineering is I don't think it is considered a field of science.

UHHH!!! Get out of your ivory tower. I have been treated with the utmost friendliness and respect from all the Jews I have met in my travels to Jewish parts of Europe. I have heard (but plan on going there soon) that Israelis are very friendly and it is a great time vacationing in Israel. The only non neighborly Jews are the DC scumbags who claim to be Jewish that hate Israel and their fellow Jews. Hello Feinstein, Boxer, and Franken. I’m talking ot you!

That’s despicable. I know he’s an idiot but I’m surprised by this. Thanks for posting!

You can go back to WWI at least to find un-American propaganda in the NYTs.
The Lusitania DisasterOn May 7, 1915, the German submarine (U-boat) U-20 torpedoed and sank the Lusitania, a swift-moving British cruise liner traveling from New York to Liverpool, England. Of the 1,959 men, women, and children on board, 1,195 perished, including 123 Americans. A headline in the New York Times the following day"Divergent Views of the Sinking of The Lusitania"sums up the initial public response to the disaster. Some saw it as a blatant act of evil and transgression against the conventions of war. Others understood that Germany previously had unambiguously alerted all neutral passengers of Atlantic vessels to the potential for submarine attacks on British ships and that Germany considered the Lusitania a British, and therefore an "enemy ship."

Um, sadly, given the long standing putrescence of the NY Times, I inititially was not sure that was a mock-up.

I guess you would call them both technology sciences but that's not science in terms of investigating the natural world. Any research in physics, biology, etc., would be secondary to the main goal of technical development.
IOWs a veterinarian's education would have a better basis for understanding the climate than an engineer. No slight to engineers intended.
