Howdy from the great state of Kentucky!

What I love about Free Republic is all opinions are respected here unlike DU. That is why Free Republic is the superior website.

Personally I voted for Alison Lundergan Grimes for semate because I thought she’d make an excellent senator for Kentucky. She lost but I respect the decision made by the voters. I generally lean democrat but always vote based on the person, not the party. I actually voted for McCain in 2008 but went for Obama in 2012. I’m up in the air for 2016 and I’m excited to see what conservatives are thinking and we will see if you can swing me.

I’d appreciate any tips to help a newbie, me, get acclimated here.
