This afternoon, the Texas Supreme Court granted my request to stay two court rulings that declared Texas’ marriage law unconstitutional. As Attorney General, I will continue to defend the will of the people of Texas, who have defined marriage as between one man and one woman, against any judicial activism or overreach.

Don’t we have the right to ignore unconstitutional rulings by judges who try to make their own law?

Wahlberg ran uncontested for election to the 167th District Court....and won, in Nov of 2012. His term is up next year (2016).
Can Judges be impeached, recalled....anything? At the very least...someone needs to contest this lib, in 2016!

Austin is the epicenter of te loony Left in Texas.
For too long, there has been no opposition.
When their is no opposition, the Left pushes the boundaries ever outward to achieve its aims.
Without meaningful pushback, they get what they want, and we get the wreckage of a failed society.

The problem here is that that the Homosexual Activist Lawyers succeeded in finding a sympathetic couple to be the plaintiffs. One is dying of cancer, and the issue is inheritance and taxes.
A Federal Judge may find sympathy in this one case and then all the other gays in Texas will claim Equal Protection.
