Washpost has a misleading headline.
“cost the states billions”? The subsidies are not a cost to the state or to the recipients of the subsidy. The cost is to federal taxpayers who are funding the illegal subsidy.
The headline should be “A Supreme Court decision against Obamacare would save taxpayers billions and billions of dollars”
Spot on...although, I’m sure they really mean it would cost billions in lost kickbacks and votes. Ha!
