USA does not.
Russkies are to Ukrainians what Orcs are to Elves in the Lord of the Rings movies. Trying to claim that Russia has the right to topple Ukraine because of a long distant relationship-- since destroyed by Russian genocide on Ukraine (7 million Ukrainians starved to death, rivaling the holocaust), is stupidity.
As for "the USA has no interest." Yes, we do have an interest if a large, nuclear armed country with a totalitarian government starts conquering countries.
