Elections do have consequences.
This is an indication that Obama no longer carries the clout with the left side of both aisles, that he once did. Words are one thing, actions are another, and a break with Obama on something he had to have wanted badly, could be a harbinger of similar breaks moving forward, on important pieces of legislation.
Lame duck just got lamer.
It is a pivot point. It is also happening in the media. Slowly Rats will distance themselves from Obama so there is a safe distance between Obama and the Dem presidential candidate (Hillary).
