In what is looking like a colossal blunder, the Copenhagen shooter was released from prison. This came after his violent history had been tracked by Danish officials. Yesterday Omar El-Hussein killed two and injured five others at a free speech conference and synagogue.
The 22 year old shooter had a long rapsheet and was under surveillance. The London Telegraph is reporting that he was released after serving a two year prison sentence for a violent crime. The shooter was born in Denmark and seemed to have been inspired by recent events:
"He was on the radar but he was not known to have travelled to conflict areas like Iraq or Syria," Mr Madsen said. "We cannot yet say anything concrete about the motive ... but we are considering that he might have been inspired by the events in Paris," he told a news conference.
Four men believed to be accomplices were arrested today as part of the investigation.

I don’t care whether it is one or many generations that a Muzzie family has been in a Western country, in their hearts they do NOT identify with that Western country. Their first loyalty is to ISLAM and the tenets of Islam such as JIHAD.
So when I hear that “French citizens” have gone to wage Jihad with ISIS, I don’t consider them “French”, I consider them Muslim AND ONLY MUSLIM.

Gun Control in Denmark is labeled as "restrictive." The definition of "restrictive" is that possession is limited to just those who are categorized as an approved group. Restrictive licensing attempts to reduce firearms violence by substantially reducing the number of firearms in circulation…can one assume that people released from prison two weeks ago are members of an approved group?
. "When seconds count, the police are just minutes away." In this case, either "minutes away" wasn't soon enough to the first shooting to stop it (or even prevent the following shooting) or the "surveillance" crew wasn't armed.
