Thanks for that added info. I am very concerned to say the least our force protection has been inadequate. I’d said before we need 10,000 Troops to protect our embassy in Baghdad, and 30,000 to protect Baghdad. And I should clarify, I mean highly trained US Troops, not coalition ‘in training’.

No problem at all! The situation in Iraq regarding Daesh is very troubling, and the recent activity is dangerous for our guys, as explained here: Missing the big picture at Al-Assad air base

The writer of the article is a retired Navy Intelligence Captain and pro-American conservative.

The truth of the matter is that Daesh is NOT a premier military force, and if our guys are allowed to go off their leashes and confront them they will utterly defeat them. The sad fact is that Obama won't let them because he won in 2008 condemning Bush for Iraq and he doesn't want history to view him as a hypocrite. Too late!!!

Seriously, though, everything out of Washington is done for political reasons--no regard for the future of the Republic, just how can I or my colleagues keep winning and stay in office? This applies to BOTH parties.

Am I wrong?
