I am so damn mad at the hacker and malware/adware clowns, that I think if they are caught, no matter who, 10 years in jail, no possibility of parole.

It's getting ridiculous and costing billions in industry and in the private sector.

I’d give them more than 10 years. The homes and businesses affected are in the millions with the number of stolen identities, correspondence, bank accounts, etc.

I agree with you. I am extremely careful when it comes to linking to other sites. I use extreme caution and rarely link to unfamiliar sites, and I’ve quit linking to sites with abundant pop-up’s.
