I do feel and believe that Free Republic is a worthwhile and great site for news. The thought had crossed my mind that if it is contributions what keeps the site going, why not make it so that any contributor will receive a password or code number at the time a contribution is made allowing him to access the site. Perhaps you may consider a minimum amount quarterly or proportionally more for half a year or for a full year.
Speaking for myself I have been contributing $ 25.00 quarterly but do not know if this is about average or either low or high. But in any case I feel that I get my money’s worth of information. Or perhaps you could have two levels of information, the first level rather basic and free and a higher paid for level.
The foregoing is just an idea or thought which had crossed my mind, if it is actually workable or feasible is another question. In any case keep up the good works….
