GOP Senate Leaders Take A Dive On Amnesty Fight

Senate Democrat leaders are using every tool they’ve got to defend the president’s top-priority November amnesty, including emotional threats to civil society, dire warnings of another 9/11 atrocity, and campaign-style hits against four wavering Republican senators.

But the Senate’s GOP leadership has used only low-emotion floor speeches and low-drama press conferences with hostile political media to scratch at the Democrats’ triple-filibuster of the Department of Homeland Security’s 2015 budget.

The GOP’s tearoom tactics haven’t moved even one of the several Democrat senators who declared partial opposition last year to Obama’s unpopular amnesty, which will add five million foreign workers to Americans’ flooded labor market.

No Democrats have flipped, even though five Democratic senators lost their seats in November, partly because of broad public opposition to Obama’s immigration policies.

In contrast to their passivity on immigration, the GOP leaders aggressively fought and won the legislative battle to approve the Keystone pipeline, despite determined Democratic opposition.

The GOP’s tepid actions in the amnesty fight adds up to “nothing, nada, zilch,” according to one Hill staffer.

Republican representatives are getting angrier at the Republican senators’ impotence, partly because the GOP base is nearly united in opposition to the amnesty. Majority Leader “Senator [Mitch] McConnell has engaged in a half-hearted effort to date … in a policy of surrender without fighting,” Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks said Wednesday.

LOCK-STEPPING PARTY LOYALTY NOT SEEN SINCE 1940'S-era EUROPE Obama's secret amnesty agenda includes unleashing the illegal alien Democrat vote.

Democrats buying votes w/ our tax dollars: illegals get SS payments, refunds of taxes already paid, more and more EITC refunds. The IRS director told Congress that even “if illegals did not file” taxes, as long as the illegal could demonstrate he worked off-the-books during those years.

Thus the universe of people eligible for the tax credit expands by millions. The IRS said only about 700,000 illegal immigrants currently work and pay taxes using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, but as many as 4 million illegals could get a stay of deportation and work permits under Obama's temporary amnesty, which would mean they would be eligible to claim back-refunds if they worked those years.

OBAMA GOVT THREATENS US CITIZENS: DHS Secy Jeh Johnson used his govt office to issue threats that would undermine US ntl security and endanger US citizens----Johnson said if Congress didn’t send President Obama the DHS funding bill that he wanted (rubber-stamping executive amnesty), federal grants allocated to local and state public safety agencies by law would not be delivered –.

Johnson apparently assumes he and Obama have the authority to nullify federal laws that don't serve their personal agenda.

REFERENCE Sheriff Justin Smith, Larimer County Colorado's Facebook post responded to, what he considers, are "veiled threats" issued from the govt office of DHS' Jeh Johnson to all police chiefs and sheriffs around the country.

MEMO TO L/E UNDER DHS THREATS: Sheriff Justin Smith and nationwide L/E, police chiefs and sheriffs due federal grants need to act now:

The Bank Secrecy Act must be mobilized----to follow the paper trail and determine how DHS govt monies changes hands; to determine the scope and dimension of collusion in sub rosa deals (and who might be personally profiting).

<><> Joint bank accounts might be used to facilitate the transfer funds from one account to another, and/or wire- transferred offshore;

<><> To cover their tracks, DHS insiders might create fake invoices to show that govt money deposited into accounts was being used for legitimate and constitutional purposes.

<><> Financial schemes scheme might be advanced by issuing phony statements of payments from financial sources that actually covered the transfer of funds for insiders' personal use and/or for redistribution schemes.

Katie Pavlich has an article at Townhall.com which puts an even great significance on the absolute necessity of fighting this unConstitutional executive action on amnesty.

"I want to bring to your attention my concern that the President’s recent Immigration Accountability Executive Actions will make it more difficult for elections officials to determine if all voters meet the primary standard for voting – U.S. citizenship. I am not here to debate immigration policy or the President’s executive actions. However, I am here to emphatically say that we cannot follow both the federal law and the executive action and ensure the integrity of the elections process without further assistance from Congress and the Obama administration," Husted said in prepared testimony. "For an estimated four to five million non-citizens, the President’s executive actions provide access to Social Security numbers and driver’s licenses. These are the same documents that federal law requires the states to recognize as valid forms of identification for voter registration. Under federal law, anyone with a valid Social Security number or driver’s license number can register to vote, provided they attest that they are a U.S. citizen. However, there is no way for us to validate this citizenship statement, since under the executive actions previously undocumented non-citizens will have access to the same documents as U.S. citizens. The issue becomes especially complicated in states like Ohio where millions of dollars are spent on third - party voter registration drives where no election official would be present to make clear the eligibility requirements for voting."
