Stopped in a couple times but never saw anything on the menu that looked vegetarian or appetizing. I was getting bean burritos at Taco Bell for less than a buck.
The mainstream (their customer base) would consider this to be a fringe issue with no impact on their consumer behavior.
This must be that new Panera Bread ad campaign “ Grab A Gun, Lose A Dollar “
Many Panera’s are located in flyover country where God and guns reign supreme. So they are just fringe elements to you?
I love the asiago cheese bread.
Addictive.
.
Yep...that’s the video they showed in my CCW class.
The food is so-so and the prices are high. Guns or no, Panera sucks.
wifey always brings chix tortilla soup from ruby tuesday’s.. or is it red robin’s .. lol
that and the onion rings are swell.
I have friends who carry 24/7. They never say that they have problems going anywhere with it. I think headquarters say no guns, but individual franchises often ignore it or support it. That is what I see anyway.
We ordered a couple of sandwiches and waited and waited and waited and finally asked if the order was done and the girl who could barely speak English (I don't speak ebonics/street speak) told us they didn't have the type bread we ordered and we had to to wait till they made some. We asked how long that would be and she told me she didn't know cause the guy who makes the bread hadn't come in yet. So we said use another type bread and just give us the sandwiches. She then told me they didn't have ANY bread to make sandwiches. The guy that ordered ahead of me who hadn't got his either looked at her and yelled why the f*** didn't you tell us that when we ordered it. She put her hands or hips and told us "Well that ain't my job dumbass"...
We asked for our money back and it took then ten minutes and 3 people to figure out how to do that.
Never been back to one since.
Eh, was never really bothered by their policy on guns. They’ve just become overpriced.
Chipotles is Numero Uno on the list.
I ate at one of those in the metroplex a few months ago, just to see if it was any good. The bread had an extremely hard crust- the meat inside was okay, and the service was good. I really have no urge to return- I like Schlotzky’s much better.
And, yes, I was carrying my concealed handgun- they had no 30-06 sign (Texas), and thus are not actually banning concealed carry in their establishment.
“The company said business investments, higher medical costs and increased minimum wages will squeeze its profit margins and that earnings per share could decline in 2015.”
Sounds like they have a RACIST running the company...blaming Obama for all their woes, and only doing so because Obama is black.
(how the Dems view it)
Went there once and asked for a pop tart shaped like a gun. Didn’t have one and I’ve never returned.
Same here. They are within walking distance from my work and I used to eat there. Never again.
During the obama depression Panera alienated millions of potential customers by banning weapons. Given the amount of competition every customer makes a difference between in the black and in the red. Great business move fellahs..
Ditto. I do the same with malls and McD’s. IF my gun is not allowed with the exception of government buildings, you don’t get my $$$.
Go belly up for all I care. It is more important to protect my RIGHT TO CCW.
