Queer marriage has failed at the polls everywhere except maybe San Francisco county.

Same-sex marriage was adopted by popular vote in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington State, and by the state legislatures in CT, DC, DE, HI, IL, NH, NY, RI and VT.

Good, those states can celebrate home marriage then. Why pick on the majority of states who want to define it per tradition?

Just a correction. Homounions were forced on us minnesotans by the politicians. There was an amendment on vote to recognize marriage as a man and woman. It failed due to apathy so they decided to legalize the homounions. Theres a difference.
