reported to be one in 175 million. At $2 a throw, it became a decent bet at $350 million (assuming one winner, which is always the catch).

That said, your odds of winning are nearly the same whether you play or not. ;-) I figure if God wanted me to win the lottery, I would find the winning ticket on the sidewalk. Odds of this happening are about the same as buying a winning ticket.
Obviously, God does not trust me with that kind of money so I'll just have to muddle along on what I got.

That said, your odds of winning are nearly the same whether you play or not. ;-) Exactly, however if one were to divert their $20/week lottery habit to a mutual fund investing in common stocks from age 21 to age 67, you are 100% certain you will hit the big one.
