Polling just before the Senate primary had McDaniel at 45% or so in the CD 1 district.
I don’t how he did on election day. But apparently he was well thought of .
The problem with him running for the Rep. position is that I’d bet people in the
district would feel they have someone within their district that is capable without
bringing in someone from outside. JMO.
I agree with you, McDaniel can play the Sarah Palin role for now in Mississippi and try to promote true constitutional conservative candidates. He should save himself to later take the “Cochran Senate seat” when that sell-out retires “early”.
