On my TV show, one government-lover said decisions must be made "by technocrats ... who have this expertise."
Back in the 20s, progressive Walter Lippman wrote that Americans were a "bewildered herd" who needed a group of experts to direct us to their correct decisions.
Progressives, I hates them.
