The USA should stay out of this.
Good. When the Ukrainians use these weapons to kill the Russian soldiers invading their territory and when Putin has to explain to the people at home why their sons are coming home in body bags then and only then will this war end.
But for now Putin thinks he can get away with invading Ukraine and he’s been right so far. Next up is going to be Belarus and after that it will likely be Estonia.
We got involved when we encouraged Ukraine to divest itself of its nuclear weapons. When we asked them to disarm we took on a moral obligation to support them as a free people just the same as Britain once supported neutral Belgium in WW1.
Ukraine wanted to be part of the EU. Let the EU save their arses.
Arm them NOW!
The EU graduated the UN school of cowardice and pandering. The EU is worthless and should be collapsed.
What vital interest do we have in arming the Ukrainians?
I’m totally serious. Putin has told the people at home that it’s pro-Russian separatists waging this war and that there are no Russian soldiers involved. The families of the Russian soldiers who have died so far have been protesting the war and getting beat up and jailed for their troubles.
Give Putin 15,000 dead soldiers to explain and he’ll be facing a coup and the war will end.
Oh, and your feeble and pathetic attempt at Alinsky-style mockery failed.
A lot of people are not understanding the greater danger that things can escalate rather quickly if we start a proxy war with Russia. Lets just face the facts, they are the masters of dark arts and will not back down. Rather than risk starting WW3 we should help them find a resolution that satisfies both parties and lets move on.
He’s mucked up the Middle East so badly, leaving beheaded Americans behind that he has to divert our attention.
Ukrainians speaking Russian is due to centuries of anti-Ukrainian language policies. It is similar to how the Irish speak English. Eastern Ukrainian support for Russia is heavily overstated by Russian propaganda. Majority of people support Ukraine.
