Last October I went to renew my DL, which I’ve held on good-standing for over 53 years. I was set home to get my COLB, and utility bills to prove my address. My old license, with a perfect driving record just wasn’t enough. As I recall, I had to present all that stuff the last time I renewed it too.
All this, I’m assuming that I was a legal citizen of the USA.
So, now they let illegals just waltz in and get a license.
The police buzz section in the local paper lists about 25 Spanish names arrested every wee because the have either no license, or no insurance.
This what happens with a liberal-progressive form of government.
My drivers license expires next year. I had been able to renew my license online which was very convenient for me, since as a senior citizen I did not need a picture on it anymore, but due to the new voter law I am required to have a picture on my new drivers license. Needless to say that I have a military Dependent ID Card that I use when I vote, plus my voter registration card
