Downstate NY is a tumor to this country, and the rest of the state. Upstate NY is mostly Conservative; we're just outnumbered about 2-1 by the downstate Libtards. If we could cede NY south of the Tapanzee to the shit hole of New Jersey, we'd be as red as Texas.
I liked upstate, NY. The city I was born in is on Lake Champlain across from Burlington. I looked the city up a few years ago. The first thing that came up was the welfare office. I have not gone back.
