NYC politics is strange.
You can say that again. Bloomberg got a 2 for 1 in that deal. He avoided a difficult primary, amongst the Democrat contenders, and got to ride Rudy’s coat tails, as both a Republican, and via Guiliani’s endorsement. Many on this forum disdain Rudy, fair enough, but he was regarded as a miracle worker, in NYC.
